Main dining
52 covers across two rooms. Low lighting, spaced tables, and acoustic panels so you can actually talk.
Ember & Oak opened in 2019 with a simple idea: Dubai deserves a dining room that feels calm, not loud, where the food does the talking.
Founders Marcus and Leila Al-Rashid spent years eating out in Dubai and kept noticing the same thing, great food, but rooms so loud you couldn't hear the person across the table. They opened Ember & Oak to be the opposite: warm, quiet, and focused on the plate in front of you.
The name comes from the wood-fired ember at the heart of the kitchen, and the oak tables that anchor the main dining room, built to last and meant to be shared.
Executive chef Lina Farouk trained in London and Beirut before bringing a wood-fired, Mediterranean-meets-Gulf menu to Marina Walk. Everything is cooked to order, no microwaves, no shortcuts.
We source produce weekly from local farms and fish markets. The menu shifts with what's in season, so regulars always find something new.
